Not so surprising email address usage?

So I currently run a small website (quakescene.com) with the long goal of hosting all competitive Quake historical matches and demos.  The current site is going away in the coming months as I've been working on the replacement site in my spare time but I just found a funny thing while doing some cleanup work and preparation work to start the conversion process.... Out of 600 users, over 480 users are using mail accounts from @yahoo.com, @gmail.com or @hotmail.com.  That shocked me at first, but when you think about it... most people are using gmail.com accounts or they have older yahoo or hotmail.  It makes me rethink a few design aspects of my new site... ::Sigh::   At least Yii Framework is living up to the hype in my eyes, very nice framework and I'm glad I can finally use it for something after years of tinkering with it.
